The new research of the origination on Shuo Hua

“说话”作为一种民间说唱艺术,在宋代始成为一种独具规模的商业化娱乐活动。关于“说话”这一体裁的源起,鲁迅先生将其溯源至唐代。此后,学者从之,少有创获。事实上,春秋时代瞽乐师们通过说唱“乐语”,讽诵“世系”进行教化的这一方式和职能,在一定程度上,已具备了宋代话本(尤其是讲史话本)讲唱艺术的某些特点,如说唱的传播方式,内容韵散结合的特征,且多寓鉴戒之意,此外还有全视角的叙述方式等,实已开说唱艺术之先声。

ShuoHua,as a kind of folk talk - sing art, had become a distinctive commercial activity for amusement in the Song dynasty. Mr. LuXun considered that the origination of Shuo Hua should be traced back to the Tang dynasty. From then on,scholars followed the opinion and seldom advanced. FatuaUy,The model of education during the Spring and Autumn Period which the musicians,such as the Gu and the Meng, talked and sang the YueYu, recited the Shixi, had already possessed some characters on the Huabei in the Song dynasty, including the mode of talk - sing transmission, the content features of the combination in verse and in prose, the mode of narration through the other person, etc. which suggested the beginning of the talk - sing art.
