运用解构方法,审视《荆棘鸟》中的深层哲理意蕴:人是历史的产物,人类的历史在一定程度上就是他的压抑史,无拘无束的满足生命需求不可避免地会与外界环境、历史积淀发生冲突,因此,人的价值观、爱情观、生活方式的选择,不可避免的要受到他所在的环境及历史积淀的束缚与限制,有时,这种既定情结、外界客观条件还会左右生命模式的形成,显示了历史积淀对生命意志的强大束缚。《荆棘鸟》通过一家三代人的爱情、婚姻、家庭生活,展示了生命模式与土地情结之间的冲突与重构过程。

By means of the method of deconstruction, this paper examines the profound phylosophical implication of The Thorn Bird. Man is the historical product;the human history is a history of constraint to some extent;unrestrained satisfaction of life will inevitably conflict with the external environment and the historical accumulation. Therefore the selection of one＇s value,love and life style is doomed to be restricted by the envinmnent and history. Sometimes , this established love knot and the extevnal objective condition control the formation of life mode, displaying the strong constraint of historical accumulation to life and will. The Thorn Bird reveals the conflict and recon- truction process letween life mode and earth-love-knot by description of the love, marriage and family life of three generations of the same family.
