Reviewing and Looking Ahead the Research of the Dong Language

侗语与侗族的历史、文化一样,源源流长而绵延不绝,侗家人通过侗语来表达情感,实现社会交际,亦通过侗语来保存民族优秀灿烂的传统文化,从而促进其社会的进步、发展和繁荣。因此,回顾侗语研究的历程,总结侗语研究的经验与成果,展望21世纪的侗语研究,很有必要。

The Dong language has a distant source and a long stream just like the Dong history and cuhure. The Dong people use their language to express their emotions, carry on their communication, keep their brilliant traditional culture and promote social progress, development and prosperity. Therefore, it is necessary to review the process of the research of the Dong language, sum up the experience and resuits of the Dong language research and to look ahead the research in the 21st century.
