外贸英语中后置定语修饰语的结构类型与翻译

On the Structual Classification and Translation of Post Modifiers in Business English

我国加入世贸组织之后,对外经济贸易活动日益频繁,外贸英语翻译的重要性也越来越不容忽视。有关外贸英语翻译的讨论虽然很多,但涉及后置定语修饰语方面的并不多见,进行这个方面的研究既可以指导教学,也可以充实外贸英语方面的翻译研究。英汉两种语言各具特色,同中存异,在对比的基础上展开讨论比较合理。提出将外贸英语中的后置定语修饰语按结构分成四类,并本着如实传达原文内容的原则,介绍了常用的翻译方法和技巧。

With China＇s accession to the WTO, activities in foreign trade and other economic relations are becoming more and more frequent. Therefore, the importance of business translation can not be ignored. This paper divides the post modifiers in business English into four types and, based on the comparison of the linguistic differences between English and Chinese, analyses the techniques and skills commonly employed for translating sentences with such modifiers.
