语言是文化的一部分,是文化的载体,是交际的工具。来自不同文化的人,由于受到本民族文化的影响,在跨文化交际中一定会遇到困难和障碍。因此,要想在不同的文化交际中获得成功,必须了解不同文化间的差异。本文就日常交际的几个方面简述英汉语言文化的差异以及他们对跨文化交际的影响。

Language,-as a part of culture, is a carrier of-culture and a means of communication. People from different cultural backgrounds, bound by their our culture, are likely to come across obstacles. Thus, to learn about dif- ferences in language and culture becomes crucial in order to be successful in cross-cultural interaction. This paper elaborates the differences from several parts of the daily communication and the influences the differences have on the cross-culture communication.
