摘要
在第二语言教学中,情感因素对语言学习的影响越来越受到重视,其中焦虑对第二语言课堂学习的影响最大。课堂焦虑按其对第二语言学习的影响可分为两种:退缩性焦虑和促进性焦虑。作者认为促进性焦虑可促进学习者对外语的学习,退缩性焦虑影响学习者对外语的学习。退缩性焦虑往往对语言学习产生障碍,影响学习者潜力的发挥。作者从两个教学实例入手,讨论了焦虑对外语学习者的影响,并提出了有效的教学对策及建议。
Affective factors play a significant role in second language learning. Among these affecfive factors, anxiety plays an extreme- ly special role in second language class learning. Class anxiety can be cut into two kinds concerning the relation between anxiety and English class teaching: facilitating anxiety and debilitating anxiety. The author argues that facilitating anxiety can facilitate second language learning and improve learners' language performance, while debilitating will bring barriers to second language learners and reduce learner' learning capacity. With two stories as an introduction, this paper mainly discusses the influences of anxiety on second language class teaching. Some suggestions about how to overcome class anxiety are put forward.
