The Acceptance and Rejection of West Romanticism in Yu Dafu＇s Works

郁达夫是“五四”时期浪漫主义文学的典型代表。但是，郁达夫作品中的浪漫主义并不等同于西方浪漫主义，作家对西方浪漫主义是有所选择和取舍的：浪漫主义思想中的对古典陈规的反叛和对个性自由的理想追求成为郁达夫反抗封建制度的有力武器；在艺术追求上，郁达夫自觉地选择了浪漫主义文学中最适合表现痛苦和悲伤的感伤情调，注重创作中主观自我的表现，从情感表现角度选择与接受浪漫主义。

Yu Dafu is the representative of the romanticism literary in May Fourth, but there is not all the same between the west romanticism and the romanticism in Yu Dafu＇s works. The author made his choice from the west romanticism： he revolted to the classicality and pursued the individuality free in the romanticism ideology, both of these has become the weapon for resisting the feudalistic. To pursue the art, Yu Dafu choose the fittest way for behaving the pain and the sore in the literature. He paid attention to behave oneself and choose and accepted the romanticism from the sensibility point of view.
