魏晋南北朝时期,玄学、道教、佛教的风行和兴盛,虽然打破了儒学的宗主地位,但是统治者尊孔重儒的措施、相对自由的学术环境和新的解经方法的运用,为魏晋南北朝时期《论语》学的发展打下了良好的基础。该时期研究《论语》的专著大增,注训《论语》方法有所创新,因此,对于《论语》学来说,这是一个创新和发展的时期。

Given the favorable environment engendered by the education measures and policies of advocating the superiority of Confucianism over other schools of ideology adopted by the governor, the study of LUN YU, not surprisingly, experienced a flourishing period, which lasted all the way through WEI , JIN as well as SOUTH and NORTH Dynasties, when Confucianism witnessed the full endorsement by the Rulers and Royal family, and achieved a paramount status in a time when academic liberalism prevailed, the study of metaphysics started to rise to prominence and Buddhism found its way into China and increasingly acquired popularity. In those days, the study of LUN YU has made notable gains in sum and the method of notation.
