The philosophical social science is the tool for people to understand and transform the world, the spirit motivation to build socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the theoretical cornerstone to promote the modernization of socialism. In the new era, the thriving and development of philosophical social science should be guided by the important idea of ＂Three Representatives＂. It＇s necessary that the important idea of ＂Three Representatives＂ be studied carefully ~ that the principle of combining theory with practice be stuck to,that the applied research and the research of basic theory be both emphasized and the construction of important principles be enhanced.
