Application of Patternless Casting Manufacturing in Rapid Tooling

无模铸型制造（PCM）技术是一种具有我国自主知识产权的应用广泛的快速成形（RP）技术。本文首先概述近年来PCM技术研究的新进展，然后介绍两个基于PCM的快速模具新技术，包括基于PCM原型的金属喷涂快速模具技术和基于PCM铸型的金属模具快速制造技术。它们是先进制造技术的重要的组成部分。本文提出的快速模具新技术，在汽车车身试制模具快速制造中有重要的应用。

Patternless Casting Manufacturing （ PCM ） technology is one kind of Rapid Prototyping technology with independent inteUectual property rights of our country and it has been widely applied in many fields. The paper firstly presents the new progress of PCM in resent years and then introduce two new rapid tooling technology based on PCM as follows： 1.metal spraying rapid tooling technology based on PCM prototyping 2.metal tooling rapid manufacturing technology based on PCM casting mould. They play an important rule in the advanced manufacturing technology. The new rapid tooling technology in this paper has an important application in the rapid manufacturing of trial-manufacture of car body tooling.
