The arts of asking questions in college English teaching

在大学英语课堂教学活动中,提问是一种必不可少的教学手段,这就要求教师能够准确地把握学生的个性,针对教学内容和学科特点,选择恰当的提问方式和方法,实施有效的提问,以激活学生的思维,达到优化课堂教学、提高教学质量的效果。本文结合教学实际,对几种设疑提问的方式和方法进行探讨。

Asking questions is a necessary approach in college English teaching, which requests teachers exactly master their students＇ personalities, choose proper methods and styles of asking questions directing to teaching contents and subject features, and ask affective questions so as to stimulate the students＇ thinking, better class teaching and improve the teaching quality. In this paper, uniting teaching practice, discusses the way and method of some kinds of asking questions.
