梅娘的小说带有自传性色彩,她从自己的身世出发,从思念生母之情和生为人母之心,并进一步从自身延伸出去,关注、同情身处沦陷区女性,为思考女性的命运而呐喊。并试图为女性找寻挣脱不幸命运的出路。
There is some autobiographic color in Mei Niang＇ novels. She noticed and sympathized the women in the enemy - occupied area from her own experience of eagerly desire and missing her birth mother, as well as the heart of being mother. She also called for pondering the destination of female. Meanwhile she tried to find the way for women to get away from unfortunate lives.
