大学英语听说教学的目的是使学生获得交际能力,新入学的本科新生虽然具有一定的英语基础,但他们在入学前复习备考时大多将注意力集中于语法、词汇、阅读理解、翻译,而忽略了听说能力的训练。因此,听说能力成为大多数学生的薄弱环节,大学英语听说课教学的策略研究应运而生。

The purpose of college English listening and speaking teaching is for the students to acquire the ability of communication. Although the freshmen have studied English for several years, they concentrated on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and translation before entering colleges and ignored training their speaking and listening ability and the research on the teaching strategy of college English speaking and listening emerges as the time requires.
