Charity, morality and social harmoniousness

慈善与道德有关,但不仅仅属于道德范畴。现代社会的慈善是一项社会化的事业,是社会保障体系的重要组成部分,是推动社会公平的重要力量,因而是构建和谐社会的重要基础。当前需要改变关于慈善的旧有观念,大力宣传和普及现代慈善意识。

Charity is related to morality but not only belongs to morality. Charity in modern society is a social cause, an important part of social protective system and a great promotion for social equality, thus being regarded as the foundation for constructing harmonious society. It is necessary to change the old views on charity and popularize the understanding of modern charity.
