The Property of Chinese Characters Viewed from the Application of Chinese Characters

关于汉字的性质,目前学术界的认识很不一致,有些观点甚至截然对立。我们认为:汉字性质研究的目的是服务于汉字的教学和应用。所以,对汉字性质的认定必须立足于汉字的不同应用环境,只有在这个前提下才能考察汉字所体现出的具体性质特征。

The understanding about Chinese characters is very inconsistent in academia at present, and some views are even diametrically opposed. We think：The purpose to study the property of Chinese characters is to serve teaching and application of Chinese characters, so asserting the property must be based on the different application environment of Chinese characters, under this prerequisite, we can inspect the specific characteristic that Chinese characters embody.
