论儒家的“推扩”思想

On the Thoughts of "Extension" in Confucianism

“推扩”的思想贯穿于儒家的道德、情感、知识、天道等各个领域,具体体现在:德性的彰显,情感上的理解、同情与反省,求知的格物致知精神,以用显体、上达天道等方面。推扩给儒学提供了合理的方法论依据。推扩本身的根据乃在于“吾道一以贯之”之“一”,也即“千人一情”、“万物一理”。

＂Extension＂ runs through each field of Confucianism, such as its morals, emotion, knowledge and divine order of things. It embodies specifically in： the clear demonstration of moral character; emotional understanding,sympathy and introspecting; the spirit of study the phenomena of nature to extend knowledge in learning; manifesting the noumenon through daily life and reaching the divine order of things, etc. Extension has provided the rational methodological basis for Confucianism. Its own foundation is ＂a thousand people stem from one feeling＂ and ＂Everything ＂one＂ of ＂My way is nan through all with one thing＂, i. e stems from one principle＂.
