According to local climate and the characteristics of water and earth, guided by health preserving theory of traditional Chinese medicine, on the base of herbal medicine, people in Lingnan area developed some beverage that has the efficacy of cleaning internal heat, detoxification and stopping thirsty, which was named herbal tea.
