在简要地介绍了文体学理论框架的基础上,指出了文体学用于外语教学的可行性和必要性。在英语专业的精读、写作和听力等课程中运用文体学教学,有助于提高学生对词汇使用的理解、驾驭书面表达能力、提高写作水平以及对作品的理解力和鉴赏力,加深学生对语言得体性的理解,提高学生实际运用语言表达思想的能力。

Based on the brief introduction to the theory of stylistics,the thesis points out the appropriateness and necessity of application of stylistics to foreign language teaching. Applying stylistics to the courses of intensive reading, writing, and listening will help to improve students＇ ability of vocabulary comprehension;writing expression;understanding and appreciation of new works. Furthermore, it will deepen the understanding of the appropriateness of language and improve the ability to communicate by means of language.
