摘要
山水画有三美:构造美、意境美、笔墨美(青绿山水为色彩美)。它们是由山水画的三个要素———构造、意境、笔墨(色彩)构成的。三美既是山水画创作的审美取向,也是山水画品评的理论框架。三要素如同建筑材料,三美则是建筑效果。三要素不全,山水不工,三要素平均,山水平庸。凡是山水大家,都在三要齐备的前提下,强调一或两个要素,并将其推向极致以突出审美取向,形成独树一帜的个人图式、艺术趣味与魅力,故能超逸凡群,出类拔萃。
There are three beauties in landscape paintings: structure, imagery (Yi Jing), and brushes (green mountains and blue water are the beauty of colors). These are three principal elements of landscape paintings. They are both the taste and the theory of the kind, and both the materials and the effects of their construction of landscape. The masters of the genre do not emphasize on all the three but on one or two, and develop them to the extreme in order to be outstanding in personal schemata, artistic taste and imagination.
