试论翻译过程

基于对现有的几种主要的翻译过程模式的描述和评介,根据Verschueren的语用观来看,翻译是一个涉及多种选择的复杂过程,即译者在翻译过程中会面临多种选择,翻译的标准和目的可帮助译者判断并选择相应的策略。

After an introduction of different models on translation process from different perspectives, this paper applies Verschueren＇s pragmatic theory to the study of translation and holds that translation in essence represents a continuous choice - making process at each level. Meanwhile, several representative examples are cited to bring out the point that the choices and decisions made in the process of translation are influenced and constrained by a variety of factor＇s.
