An Inquiry into the Class Origin of Quyan's Family in Relevance to the Three Major Royalties in the Chu State

论题从楚王族三姓的来历及人物的活动,尤其是屈氏人物在春秋至战国间的活动来展示其盛衰状况,阐明屈氏家族发展至屈原时并未完全没落的观点,以便人们能深入地了解屈原思想、性格和志向之形成。

This article illustrates the rise and fall of the great poet Quyuan＇s family, as reflected in important events of the family between the period of the Spring and Autumn and that of the Warring States, and in relevance to the three major royalties of the Chu State. It then argues that Quyuan＇s family had not yet declined during his life time. The findings of this inquiry will lend good reference to a better understanding of development of Quyuan＇s ideology, personality and aspirations.
