被尊为“经”乃《诗经》之幸

A GOOD THING FOR THE BOOK OF SONGS TO BE RESPECTFULLY CALLED "SUTRA"

《诗经》被尊为“经”,当代学人多认为是《诗》的不幸。其实,《诗经》之被尊为“经”,凭借其崇高的政治地位,影响社会,影响文学,对《诗经》的传播与影响来说,至少有四个方面的好处:提高了它的诗学价值和地位;把“中国诗学”融入我们的民族精神,形成民族传统,铸造了中华民族勤劳、朴实、温柔敦厚的民族性格;抒情诗歌成为我国文学的主要样式;奠定了民间文学在我国文学史上不可替代的地位。

Many scholars think that it is bad for the Book of Songs to be repectfflly called＂sutra＂.In fact, it is called＂sutm＂due to its high political statu.As for its spread and influence,being called ＂sutra＂has four benefits：improving its value and statu;mixing ＂Chinese poems＂into our national spirit, forming national tradition,founding hard-working,pure and gentle characteristics;lynic poetry becoming our nation＇s main form;establishing the important position of classic literature on our country＇s literary history.
