摘要
“委婉”是一种可以脱离人的自然语言而独立存在的、人类普遍认为有效的思维方式和认知手段。委婉话语的特点包括:礼貌原则在委婉言语交际中的首要或重要地位;委婉语掩盖和篡改某种基本真实,违反了质准则;委婉语源于权利强加于事物的暴力,它的产生、变更和发展体现着社会权利的意志。
Euphemism is also a mode of thought and cognition, which derives from humans natural language and independently exists among human beings. The characteristics include the leading and significant role of politeness principles in euphemism discourse, euphemisms antagonism against quality maxim for hiding and changing some basic truth of the facts and that euphemism originates from the power violence foisted upon objects and the variation and development of euphemism represent the ideology of social power.
