摘要
MPEG-4高级层视频编码器(ASP)比目前普遍采用的简单层(SP)具有更优越的特性,但它的高复杂度使实时实现成为难点。利用TIC64xDSP的硬件结构和指令系统,提出了MPEG4高级层实时编码器各模块优化方法。在保证率失真性能基本不变的情况下,优化后的高级层编码器能够达到CIF格式的实时编码器要求。
Because of marvellous rate distortion performance, MPEG-4 advanced simple profile (ASP) has more complexity than simple profile, which makes it difficult to implement . A serious of optimizing strategies for MPEG-4 ASP encoder was introduced based on TI C64x DSP. Keeping up the same rate distortion, encoding efficiency improved significantly which meets the generally requirement of real time implementation of encoding CIF sequence.
