Understanding the Ever-lasting “Zhang Jigang Phenomenon”

中国当代著名编导家张继刚在2005年春节联欢晚会中以其舞蹈作品《千手观音》再次在全国乃至全世界引起了人们对“张继刚现象”的关注与探讨。本文试分析“张继刚现象”经久不衰的原因。

Zhang Jigang, a famous writer and director of dancing in China, attracted great attention again in 2005 by his dancing work ＂ Guan Yin With Thousands of Hands＂ in the Spring Festival Evening Party. The ＂Zhang Jigang Phenomenon＂ has expanded into other fields except dancing field. He never repeated others＇ works nor his own works. This paper will try to seek and dig for Zhang Jigang＇s thinking feathers, system of his knowledge and the reason why ＂ Zhang ]igang Phenomenon＂ can be everlasting. It aimed to make dancing workers treat their success and failure objectively.
