相思子毒素类似于蓖麻毒素,是一种植物蛋白毒素,具有极强的细胞毒性作用,特别是对某些恶性肿瘤细胞的毒性更强,这使它成为用于杀伤肿瘤细胞的候选毒素之一。文章就其毒性、结构、毒理、基因克隆以及应用方面做了简要的综述。

Abrin, resembling to the riein, is a protein toxin from plant Abrus precatorius that possesses a highly eytotoxie effect on eukaryotie cells, especially to some malignant tumor cells. So it may have potential clinical use in cancer thrapy. Here this article revewed the structure, toxicity, toxicology, gene cloning,and application of abrin in targeted cancer therapy.
