In the beginning of the '90s, the world trade saw a slow progress. It was from 1994 that the world trade began to develop at a high speed. This trend of development has continued to the next half of the '90s. Through this rapid development the worldwide market competition increases tensely. While the United States takes the leading place, the prospects for export from Germany is gratifying, which in turn challenges the United States in its position in the lead. Although Japan is one of the countries that is imbued with energy, the developing countries and regions in Asia are the fastest in economic growth as well as the most attractive market in the world. In this situation, the United States and Europian Union are eager to expand their exports to Asia, which merits attention.
