文献资源建设的理论与实践曾给我国图书馆的文献工作带来巨大的推动，但也显示出许多历史性局限。为此，当前应提倡以信息资源建设的观念取代文献资源建设的提法。

The system of the document resources building has improved the documentation in libraries since 1980s',but it is also rather limited now. Therefore we have to advocate the theory of the information resources building instead of the document resuorces building in order to meet the demand of the mordennization in libraries.
