This paper argues that meide (没的), youde (有的 ) and their variants are the consequences of nominalization. The former appeared in the Yuan Dynasty and the latter in the Ming Dynasty. There is a transformational relation between "you/meide ( 有/没的 ) + V" and "you/mei (有/没) + V de(的) ", but their semantic features are different.
