摘要
本文在区分能愿动词三种主要功能(内在施为功能、外在施为功能和推测功能)的基础上通过英汉对译的口语体语料对比研究了英语情态动词与汉语能愿动词在形式和功能上的交叉对应关系,由此从形式—功能对应和语境内置两方面对能愿动词的语际迁移偏误进行预测和解释,使教师能够在“对应”和“内置”两个认知环节上对以英语为母语的汉语学习者进行相应的教学指导。
Starting from the distinction of three basic: functions of Chinese modal auxiliaries, this paper investigates the differences in the form-function configuration of modal auxiliaries between English and Chinese through a comparative study based on English-Chinese oral data. Interlingual transfer errors are accordingly predicted and explained with reference to form-function matching and context embedding, so that instruction on Chinese modals can be improved by incorporating the findings and ideas of this paper.
