《美人依旧》是一部具有明显的女性主义创作意图和艺术特征的影片,也是一部较为清晰地表现女性主义观念的具有象征意味的影片。影片通过璎子和小菲姐妹俩对黄先生的情爱,来印证男女的性爱本性。影片中小菲不能把虚荣、美的替代品与美区分开来,而自甘成为男性欲望的客体,走着一条追寻———迷失———回归的曲折路程。姐妹俩从开头按照男人的方式办到结尾遵从自己的意愿,这既体现了女性自我意识的觉醒,也在客观上颠覆了男权中心的话语,一定意义上实现了女人的自我救赎。

She is Still a Beauty is a movie characterized by its distinct artistic characteristics and production intention of feminism.It indicates the nature of sex by describing the sisters' love,Yingzi and Xiaofei,for Mr.Huang.In the movie,Xiaofei,who is unable to distinguish vanity,substitutes of beauty from the true beauty,is willing to be the object of men's sexual desire.She takes a tortuous emotional road: seeking,at a loss and return.That the sisters always follow man's order at the beginning and end up independent represents the awakening of their self awareness,their casting off the yoke of male chauvinism,and to some extent,the female's self-salvation.
