Introduction of new willow clones for wave break plantation in Middle Low Yangtse Valley

安徽省长江滩地防浪林引种的苏柳７９９、苏柳１７２有较明显的苗期和林期生长优势。

New willow clones have been introduced to Anhui province for wave break plantation along Yangtse Valley and the results showed that Salix jiangsuensis CL ‘J799’and S.jiangsuensis CL ‘J172’ have excellent dominance during their nursery and stand growing, specially, J799 not only grows much quicker but also has high to resistance to diseases and insects.
