Jingkangxiangsuzaji written by Huang Zhaoying is an important work in the short sketches of the Song dynasty. It contains rich material of exegetical studies .The paper makes a preliminary inquiry for it from terminologies, contents, ways and characteristics and defects of exegetical studies to excavate its value for exegetical studies. Thus, it can cause scholars to pay attention to the short sketches of Song and Yuan dynasty.
