实现人的全面发展是马克思主义的重要理论观点,正确理解人的全面发展观的科学内涵,对推进人的全面发展具有重要的指导意义。虽然只有到共产主义社会才能实现“每个人”的全面而自由发展,但是只要不断提高全面素质,社会主义初级阶段“一部分人”能够成为全面发展的人。推进人的全面发展与推进社会发展进步是互为前提和基础的同一个历史过程的相互制约、相互促进的因果关系。推进人的全面发展是社会主义现代化的本质要求,只追求经济效益,不推进人的全面发展,就不可能实现现代化。以人的发展为先导,提高民族素质,推进人的全面发展,才能抓住新科技革命和全球化带来的发展机遇,促进社会主义现代化。

Promoting humans overall development is the essential request, for modernization won＇t come true by pursuing only economic effect without promoting human＇s overall development.
