On Curricula Setup of Civil Law at the Public Security Academies

为适应现代公安执法的需求,公安院校应确定民法课程在公安法学教育中应有的重要地位,让在校学习的预备警官打牢法律功底,树立平等、公平、诚实信用、尊重权利的观念;确立“立警为公,执法为民”的理念,具备综合运用法律的法学素养,成为合格的公安应用型人才。

To meet the needs of police enforcement in the modem society, the curriculum at the public security academies should include civil law study, which is playing a very important role in the public security law education. Education of civil law enriches law knowledge of the reserve police officers studying at schools and helps to build them ideas such as equality, impartiality, honesty and rights respect. The students are taught the notions to act as impartial police officers serving the people. With comprehensive law accomplishments, the students are to be qualified law enforcement officers.
