本文从文体学的角度,从主题、叙述方式和语言三方面对美国华裔文学小说《吃碗茶》的写作风格作一探讨,指出该小说是美国华裔文学作品风格从异国情调转向真实反映的代表作。

Eat A Bowl of Tea enjoys significance in the history of Chinese-American literature. From the viewpoint of stylistics, this thesis will make a tentative analysis on its overall style, including subject, means of narration and language features, with the conclusion that this novel is the representative work that shows the style of Chinese-American Literature changed from alien romance to reality.
