论英汉语言的性别歧视

性别歧视是一种历史文化现象,它渗透在社会生活的各个方面。本文从社会语言学的角度出发,对英汉两种语言在词汇、称谓、俗语、文学作品等方面所存在的性别歧视现象作一探讨。

sexual discrimination, which penetrates all aspects of social life, is a phenomenon of history and culture. The present article attempts to make a tentative of sexism in English and Chinese from the sociolinguistic perspective in terms of vocabulary, appellations, common sayings and literature.
