Constructing the saving-water-society to realize the northwestern sustainable development

我国西北地区水资源总量短缺且时空严重分布不均,已成为制约西北经济和社会可持续发展的瓶颈。突破该瓶颈,则须培育全民节水意识,大力发展西北节水生态农业、节水工业和节水型城市,努力建设节水型社会。

The total quantity of the northwestern water resources in our country is not only little but also uneven seriously in distribution in space and time, which has restricted the northwestern sustainable development in economy and society.To break away from the restrict, we should ＂develop vigorously the saving-water-ecology-agriculture,the saving-water-industry and the saving-water-cities, and work hard to construct the saving-water-society, and cultivate the saving-water consciousness of all people.
