社会主义新农村建设理念的提出是党中央和国务院解决“三农”问题的一项重大成果。建设社会主义新农村必须坚持新思路,拓展新途径,贯彻新原则,以城乡统筹为关键,以经济建设为基础,全面贯彻以工哺农政策,大力促进农民创业,发挥农村党员的作用,促进农民增收。

The idea of developing the socialist new countryside is an important achievement of CCCPC and the State Council in solving the rural problems. To develop the socialist new countryside, we must have new thoughts, carve out new ways and carry out new principles. In other words, we must take the overall planning of both the urban and rural areas as the key, economic development as the base, carry out to the letter the policy of letting industry feed agriculture, encourage farmers to start their own businesses, bring all the rural party members of CCP into play and increase the farmers＇ income.
