This article introduced the resources status, artificial breeding techniques and problems of high valuable species of mollusks-Coelomatra antiquata in South China Sea, and the key techniques and problems during the culture process have been fully described. Viewpoints such as establishing indoor stereo-adhesion of larvae, stereo-breed of juveniles, solving the large-scale medi-culture techniques of larval and optimizing the techniques of the culture and proliferation of Coelomatra antiquate have been raised. Prospects have been put out in future development of Coelomatra antiquate.
