Chemically modified electrodes (CMEs) by 2,9,16,23 tetracarboxylphthalocyanine (H 2TcPc) and its Co(Ⅱ), Ru(Ⅲ), Cu(Ⅱ), Fe(Ⅲ) complexes (CoTcPc, RuTcPc, CuTcPc, FeTcPc) were prepared by irreversible adsorption. Catalytic activities of these CMEs for electrooxidation of oxalic acid and L cysteine in aqueous solution were investigated with cyclic voltammogram. Experimental results showed that all CMEs but H 2TcPc CME had activities to the electrooxidation of oxalic acid, there are good linear relationships between peak current (I p.a. ) and oxalic acid concentration except FeTcPc CME. Only CoTcPc CME had activity to the electrooxidation of L cysteine, there is a good linear relationship between peak current(I p.a. ) and L cysteine concentration.
