摘要 生态足迹的计算是基于以下两个基本事实:人类可以确定自身消费的绝大多数资源及其产生的废弃物的数量;这些资源和废弃物能转换成相应的生物生产土地面积。上海市(以2002年为基年)的人均生态足迹为3.25hm2,人均生态足迹赤字为3.13hm2,这表明,上海的城市发展依然处于高消耗高污染的阶段,整体的可持续性发展水平尚待提高。 The calculation of ecological footprints is based on two basic facts: the majority of the resources upon which human beings can decide their consumption and the amount of castoff produced from the resources; the land area for biological production transformed by such resources and their castoff. The author calculate and analyze the ecological footprints of Shanghai in 2002. According to this calculation, the ecological footprint and ecological deficit per capita of Shanghai in 2002 were 3.25 hm2 and 3.13 hm2. The ecological footprint analysis of Shanghai indicated that the development of the city was still in the process of high consumption and high pollution, and Shanghai's development sustainability was still at a low level
