摘要
尼布尔认为,在现实社会中,要使人学会共同生活的艺术,不能单纯依靠一种思想资源而要依靠多种思想资源。尼布尔两种伦理思想资源——理性资源和宗教资源有利有弊,理性能使人控制自利冲动,也容易变成为自利作辩护,宗教能使人超越自利但过分化则会否定人的生存意志。在我国建设和谐社会的过程中,不仅需要相应的理性资源作主导,同时也需要其他传统的、宗教的非理性资源作为补充,来引导人们学会协调复杂的人际关系,从而达到社会的和谐。
In Niebuhr's opinion, to make people learn the art of lives together well in the real society, we should depend on many kinds of thought resources not only just one kind of them. The paper analyses the advantages and the dis-advangtages of two kinds of ethics thought resources of Niebuhr - the rational and the religious resources. Rationality can control the implusion of self-concern but it is also easy to be the defender of self-concern. The religion can make people exceed self-concern but overladen will deny human' s survival will. During the construction of harmonious society in our country, we not only needs the corresponding rational resources as the leadership, but also religious non-rational resources as the supplement to guide people to learn how to coordinate the complex interpersonal relationship, thus achieved a harmonious society.
