建设新农村应切实解决“三个公共”问题

“Three Publics” and Building New Countryside

本文结合云南省保山市的实际,认为农村公共设施薄弱、公共事业滞后、公共服务缺失是困扰新农村建设的三个重要问题,解决办法主要包括建立统筹城乡发展的新机制等6个方面。

“Three Publics” refer to public infrastructure, public affair s, and public services, which are less developed in rural areas, especially in t he western part of China. This paper uses a case study in Baoshan city, Yunnan P rovince, to discuss six aspects in order to build new mechanisms for a coordinat ed urban and rural socio-economic development
