传世文献记载了楚人祭祀的少量的神祇名称,而战国楚国贵族墓中出土的竹简详细地记录了楚人祭祀的大量的神祇名称,与《九歌》中众多的神祇相比较,两者同中有异,其差别可以为解决楚辞学史上的一些争端提供有力的证据。

It is known to all that the people of Chu Kingdom offered sacrifices to gods and ancestors on the basis of sacrificial rites .Through observation and study the recordings inscribed in the bamboo slips unearthed in Chu Tombs, we knew the system of gods and ancestors adored by people in Chu kingdom,and conduced that there are diffremt names of gods between bambooslips and Jiuge.
