现行农村金融体制制约着社会主义新农村建设,因此必须加快农村金融体制改革以适应社会主义新农村建设的需要。当前,农村金融体制改革重点要抓好五项工作:一是强化政策金融和商业银行对新农村建设的支持力度;二是深化农村信用社体制改革,发挥其主力军作用;三是加快培育和完善农村金融市场;四是积极引导民间金融组织健康发展,努力培养农村金融多元化主体;五是加强农村金融机构内部管理,增加业务品种,提高服务水平。
