As an important component of postcolonialism, the theory of cultural imperialism is based on a specific philosophy. The article analyses the theoretical origin of cultural imperialism and its form of expression, pointing out that American culture has the greatest influence in cultural imperialism, and that the development of cultural imperialism will lead to a rebound culture, namely, to understand original culture again and recognize it.
