翻译指的是一种语言的语篇材料被另外一种语言中与其对等的语篇材料所代替。因此,翻译的对等单位是语篇,即翻译应寻求两种语言的语篇材料在同一整体语境中意义和功能的一致。本文旨在从语言语境、情景语境和社会文化语境三个方面来分析语境在语篇翻译中的制约作用,并通过实例来反映语境制约下的语篇翻译。

translation can be defined as follows： the replacement of textual material in one language （SL） by equivalent textual material in another language（TL）. Hence, a text is the equivalent unit of translation. In other words, translation is trying to seek the meaningful and functional corresponding of two languages textual materials in the same contexts. This paper is going to analysize the textual translation restricted affection in contexts via linguistic context, situational context and social - - - cultural context.
