A Study of the Development Strategy for the Vocational Education in the Western Region of China during the Period of 11th Five-year Plan and 2020

职业教育是教育和经济相结合的最直接的教育形式,是最易实现教育产业化的教育类别。由于职业教育所培养的人才能直接进入市场,服务于经济,检验于竞争,因此,对西部地区而言,职业教育要适应西部大开发的人才市场需求,就应建立结构合理、规模适当、具有特色和优势的职业教育体系。

Vocational education, a direct educational form combining education with economy, is an educational type of accomplishing the industrialization of education. Owing to the people trained by vocational education can be employed directly, we should adapt vocational education in the western region of China to the development of employment market, and establish a vocational education system with rational structure, proper scale , features and superiority.
