作为梁朝文学新变派的代表人物,简文帝萧纲创作了大量写景咏物以及描写宫廷歌儿舞女的诗歌。但是,从其大量清新而颇富生活情趣的写景诗、生动活泼的咏物诗、少数质朴而感人的闺怨诗以及为数众多的豪气丛生、慷慨激昂的边塞乐府诗中即可看出,其内容并不仅限于艳情,风格也绝不只是孱弱柔靡。因此,对萧纲的文学成就应作全面认识。

As a representative of the new literal group,Jian Wen Emperor XIAO Gang wrote a lot of poems describing the scenery,the singers and dancers in the imperial court. However the content of his poems was not limited to love,and the style was not just characterized by weakness and excessive refinement,which could be seen from the large number of fresh and channing poems depicting scenery ,lively poems singing nature, some simple and moving poems expressing young ladies＇ grudge and some frontier poems full of heroism and passion. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of XIAO Gang＇ s literary achievements should be made.
